How To Solve Windows 7 Activation Error 0x8007232B DNS Name does not exist

If you’re trying to activate Windows 7, and are faced with the following error:

Error Code: 0x8007232B
Description: DNS Name does not exist

You can try this to solve the problem. Search for “cmd”, then right-click on “cmd.exe” and choose to “Run as adminstrator” (this is important!)

Then type these:

slmgr.vbs -ipk [Your Windows 7 Product Key with the dashes]

slmgr.vbs -ato

That should work and activate your copy of Windows 7.
