Hi, and yes I had the same problem, no sound..absolutely nothing unless with the headset on. Hv tried all methods but none works for me. So I went down to my service provider to hv my phone checked. I’m shocked to hear that the parts inside my phone is already corroded(by liquid/water), which in the first place I din even know how/when my phone gets contacted with water. Anyway there’s nothing they can do for me even though I’ve bought my phone for less than 1 year and worse thing is I can’t get a free 1-1 exchange for a new iPhone. So I’m now stuck with a ‘soundless’ iPhone.

Hi I appearently also have this same problem but I tried cleaning the earpiece hole … But it doesnt work … Can someone tell me how ?? I also jailbtoken my iPhone

Hi yer same drama for m e got phone today no sound at all, when i put in on my docking station it works thru stereo, same as if i put headfones in. But with non of the above no sound, no clicks, no music not a thing! Talk about frustrating! looks like a visit to apple hope they can fix it for me.

Ahhh if it’s not an issue with dust, then that might be a deeper problem with the phone hardware then. You may have to visit the service centre to fix this

Yes , the female part . I also try restore , reset and nothing work for me Its always say that the headphones r in !

Just so that we’re clear – the headphone jack here is the female part that’s on the phone right? That should be cleaned out, because if you’re facing the same situation as I’ve described, that was the solution that worked for me. If that fails, I’m afraid I’m out of ideas
