Have a look at my invention called the Bandit Wallet. http://www.banditwallet.com

It's an elastic money band made of fabric that is smooth on the outside and rubber on the inside. The rubber grips your cash / cards while sliding easily into your pocket.

It looks a little like the Stretch Money Holder but I don't separate out the cards from the cash. And, there product is not rubber on the inside, which is what makes the Bandit special and different!

There use to be, many years ago, a wallet manufacturer in New York, or at least they were distributed from New York who advertised the worlds slimmest wallet. They were beautiful with gold corners. Several styles. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the firm. Can you help?
They were not sold in stores, only by mail in ads in large publications, IE. New Yorker etc.
thanks

I always hated money clips too, but upon seeing your review for the Beza Money Clamp, looking into it further, and taking the plunge, I have decided that it's the greatest wallet I've ever owned. All the things I hate about money clips (lack of organizational potential, weak support, and limited storage capacity) are completely absent from this system.

I don't even have to worry about cards falling out once the leather on the wallet has stretched (a common concern with external card slots), because one would have to tug quite deliberately to make them budge from the under the firm support of the clamp. Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction!

No worries! I hated the fat wallet too, which led me to sourcing out all the thin wallet alternatives. I got the big skinny in the end, but I went with the leather version, which wasn't as thin as I had hoped.
