Eh, most of those inventions are for people who are lazy or stupid.
Well, you have to remember that most of the population is lazy or stupid. At least in America (trust me I know).

Hey, it only seems to you that “most of the population is lazy or stupid” when in fact, only half of the population is really lazy or stupid, and that will be presumed here, on your words, to be the half you hang out with!
Remember, half of the population is ‘below average in IQ’! Perhaps you should choose yoru friends more carefully.
The half I hang out with, and encounter in seminars on Physics, Astronomy, the Sciences, and the Arts, all seem to be above reproach as to mental acuity, with quick witted senses, and a heightened repartee responsiveness!
Life is good, for me! Yours probably sucks. But, you can change that. Just don’t come over here trying to horn in on my universities and museums on the East Coast.

well, i don’t work in an office yet, so the coffee mug thing is not an issue (yet eheh) - however, i must say i am quite impressed with the banana case invention. question though… is there a one-size fits all case? or is it kinda twisty to fit those irregular curves?

SMART + Lazy = best inventions ever
I LOVE these inventions, and if I would see the transparant toaster in the shop I even would consider bying it…
Unfortunately, those that think half the population is below average, are probably below average. Half the population is below the median, but above and below average can have any ratio. Example: The average number of legs on humans is smaller than two. In that case, almost all of the population is above average.

I love th banana case. If I’m not careful, something cold may be against my bananna in my cooler, and depending on how cold and damp…yeachh…a big ‘ole brown spot on my Chiquita.

hey gaurav, for those products that i found, i’ve put up the links. unfortunately, some are only design concepts, like the glass toaster (which is rather cool, but then, i’m always rushing off for classes or waking up late so toast, or breakfast for that matter nearly always doesn’t happen
)
It seems as these products are for lazy and stupid people. But we will not have luxuries we are suing today, if our fore-fathers thought the same way. Si Innovative thinking always take the world forward.

For such a genius, you’ve really mustered a fallacious argument. Sure, half of the population has an IQ below 100, but 90% have a “normal” IQ or below, and only 10% are actually below one standard deviation. Also, this doesn’t account for or relate to those who are lazy, which seem to be the elite, pampered, and educated upper-class like yourself. You know, the East-Coast private school brats like you, using Mommy and Daddy’s money to play leisure sports and do expensive illicit drugs all day — sounds pretty lazy to me.
I’m not normally the posting type, but your monumentally rude comment begged me to point out that you’re clearly not as smart as you think you are, and certainly not in the social realm. Maybe some of your seminars and universities can help you learn not to be such an asshole. In fact, you might consider finding something more productive to do with your alleged brilliance than bragging about your money and education while degrading the less fortunate. I won’t even get into what a disgrace you are to your socioeconomic standing…
I think I speak for everyone when I say that I care way more about a banana guard than your awesome life and all of the obvious self-esteem issues its given you. Shut up.

Is an ass! Although I am glad his life is going so well, I find it remarkable that some one so educated would degrade the less fortunate.

Toilet seat lifter is the most useful
My Grandma got one of those giant remotes for Christmas because she can’t read the buttons on the regular remotes. Once she gets the hang of it I think she’ll love it!
Alvin, I’m gutted, what can I say.
I’ve rarely seen something on here that made me say, “I WANT that!”, but the glass toaster did it for me. And then I find it’s only a concept.

I loved ALL the stuff!
What amazes me is that the “Banana guard” is selling big time here in Sweden - in expensive design stores! (I bought 2 for my kids like 2 years ago for about 10 USD each!!!!)
And I would definately buy the giant remote!!! (But it would still have to be enhanced with some sort of incorporated beep/sound devise/sensor, like it beeps if you clap your hands or whistle… so you actually find it from where ever your kids have hidden it from you… my mom had a keyring like that many, many, many years ago! Let me tell you - I wish most of my stuff had that!!!)

I want like half the things on here. Seriously, traspearent toaster? Tea-time penguin? They sound like sex positions, but they’re really good ideas! I guess that’s redundant, but seriously, I want them!, oh and a day clock. Anyone who thinks my comments are good, or stupid, or has any thoughts owes me one of these items.

No, I actually never used them much…. But they are very, very popular over here - as popular as they are (still) expensive - and if you are around parents with young children you’re always bound to see a few coming out of their bags.
Well they really are kinda silly , but cute I guess some are useful but not really to me but fun to look at
